Yellowjackets Drop Volleyball Match at Rocky (October 29, 2002)

BILLINGS, MT – The Lady Yellowjackets’ offense was about as cold as the temperature outside Tuesday night as they lost 30-25, 30-14, 30-18 at Rocky Mountain College.

MSU Billings had three players with negative hitting percentages as the team hit a combined .008 in the three games.  Rocky posted a respectable .269 hitting percentage to improve to 17-6 on the season.  The Jackets fell to 7-14.

Kari Gerretsen led the Yellowjackets for the second consecutive match with 11 kills.  She also added five digs.  Katrina Dahlgren posted six kills in the match to go along with two solo blocks and one block assist.

In each of the first two games, MSUB had a .000 hitting percentage.  The Yellowjackets notched 10 kills with 10 errors in both games.  In the third game, they only managed eight kills to offset seven errors.

The Yellowjackets will travel to Western New Mexico on Friday and Saturday for their final road matches of the season.  The teams split two games earlier in December in Billings.
